DIURESIS

Diuresis is the removal of excess watery urine from the body through the kidney.
  The situations occurs when the kidney tubules fails to reabsorb  water from the glomerular filtrate back to the blood.

CAUSES OF DIURESIS

Below are the main causes of Diuresis.
·         Diseases such as diabetes insipid us and pituitary disease.
·         Lack of Hormones called aldosterone causing excess sodium ions to be excreted
·         Drinking Of Excess alcoholic.
·         Drugssuch as Lasix when given to patients  suffering from oedema causes diuresis.
·         Heart failure, renal failure and kwahiokor cause diuresis.

EFFECT OF DIURESIS

Below is are the effect of Diuresis.

  • ·         Thirst and dehydration occur due to excess removal  of body fluid.
  • ·         High blood pressure may occur .
  • ·         Loss of Appetite
  • ·         Loss Of weight
  • ·         Weakness
  • ·         Fatigue and nausea.
  • ·         Death eventually may occur if not treated
etc .

Remedy  , Solution OF DIURESIS


·         Do not use fans and air conditioners in cold weather .
·         Avoid excessive drinking of alchohol .
·         Diabetic patients should be treated with insulin.
·         People lacking ADH and aldosterone should be treated.
·         Kidney transplant .
Etc .
