SOME TRIBUTES TO DR CHARLES RONALD ROBERT
TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED MOTHER
Who am I to complain when the Creator of heaven and earth has spoken, who am I to question on the time and method He chooses in calling one of His own. On the 14th of August, my dearest and beloved mother was called by her Creator. Though it came as a bombshell but I am convinced, it is the Lord’s will. Mama, you were an inspiring soul, my mentor and my everything. You showed me the right path to follow and that is what has made me where I am today.
You were always there for all, who came to you with their troubles and tried to device a means of solving them in your own little way. You were so generous, loving and kind to all and sundry. I can still remember the sweet name you usually called “Effiong Udo” you made sure I lacked nothing.
You risked your life for me as a mother and also taught me the way of God. You were never a rich woman but the little you had, you always shared it with everyone. Words alone cannot express how heartbroken I feel each time I remember that you are gone.
But I am rest assured that wherever you are, you are in a much better place. Adieu my sweet mama. Till we meet to part no more.
Felix (Effiong Udo)
TRIBUTE TO MY DEAREST GRANDMA
In the bible, death is aptly described as the best enemy (1st Corinthians 15 vs 26) it breaks into our lives with irresistible force often when we are completely unprepared and it robs us of those we hold dear. I must confess, the love of a grandma is usually so unique.
Mama, you played a part in my childhood and I can remember sitting with you in the kitchen on several occasions tasting the dishes you prepared with special love. Your sense of humour is something I cannot forget in a hurry. You were never just a grandma but a guardian, my friend and my source of inspiration. Your earnest prayers and desire was for me to marry a good husband and bear good children but it saddens my heart that you won’t be here to witness it happen. I have no right to question our Creator but your prayers while on earth will always keep me going. Rest in peace grandma.
Till we meet again on the last day.

TRIBUTE TO MY GRANDMA LIKE NO OTHER
Mama, as we have always called you, it is hard to believe that you are no more with us. You loved, cherished and guided us as your grandchildren. Teaching, scolding and correcting us was a way of life for you and now you will not be here to see how we become what you’ve always wished us to. Your departure is still like a dream to us because we were always too fond of you.
There was never a sad moment with you, as you usually cracked our ribs with laughter. We believe you are only transiting to a higher realm of existence. Adieu our grandma.
May God be with you till we meet again.
Enwongo, Abasibiangake and Little Mercy
